If I were a girl who lives in two worlds.

I walked in the hallway to get to my locker to keep my algebra books. Amy was standing near my locker.

‘Hurry up Samantha! I want to tell you something.” She said.

‘What is it? Classes doesn’t start in thirty-minutes.” I said.

‘Nothing much just wanted to ask you this algebra question.’

I thought Amy how to answer the question and told her that I need to go to class now.

‘Why do have to be so different, punctual, very concern and serious. You need to chill out Sam.’ She said.

‘That’s who I am and if you are my best friend stop asking me questions like that’ I said and went away to my English class.

As I was walking, one boy suddenly bumped into me and all my books fell down. He helped me to pick up my books.

‘I am very sorry. I didn’t mean to bump in to you on purpose’ he said.

‘It’s okay because it is also my mistake.’ I replied.

He shakes hand with me and introduced himself.

‘Hello, I am Ben and I am new here. I was actually finding the way to go to the English class of the seventh grader. If you don’t mind can you please help me?’

‘Hi, I am Samantha. My friends call me Sam. What a coincidence I am going to the English class and I am a seventh grader too! Why don’t we go together?’

‘Yeah sure. I guess we can be great friends too.’

‘I will be introducing you to my best friend Amy later in the cafeteria. Right now we better get going to class first.’

We got in class right on time. Ben sat beside me. We were talking so that we can get to know each other better and Mrs. Walker came in and started teaching us English literature.

‘Sam! Over here.’ Amy called me out in the cafeteria.

Ben and I walked over to the table where Amy was sitting.

‘Hey Amy. So how was your class?’ I asked her.

‘Okay, as usual. Who is this guy? I’ve never see him in this school before.’

‘He’s Ben a seventh grader. He is new to Albuquerque. I met him on the way to the English class just now. He actually bumped into me and my books fell. He helped to pick up my books and the next thing I knew we were friends.’

‘Wow! He is cute. Anyways hi I am Amy a best friend of Sam. Nice to meet you.’

‘Um, hi I am Ben. Nice to meet you too.’ replied Ben in kind of shy way.

‘Why don’t you guys go get your food first? We still can talk after that.’ said Amy.

‘Okay’ both of us replied.

On our way to the food café Calvin came by and said hi to Ben and me.

‘Hello Sam and…’ he said

‘Ben ‘ Ben replied.

‘Ben. Nice name. I am Calvin and I would like to be friends with you.’

‘Thanks. Of course we can be friends. If you don’t mind I am hungry so can we meet later after school at locker 235?’

‘Sure. I can introduce you to my other friends too. So bye Ben, bye Sam.’

‘Bye’ both of us replied.

‘Wow, that was just so weird. Calvin has never spoke to me before. Not even hi. But today he did and that’s thanks to you, Ben.’ I said.

‘Is it? Well anyway it’s okay. Just think I bring new changes in your life.’

We bought our food and went back to our table. Amy and Ben were talking while I was thinking something else because I saw the heart killer’s sign just now.

After five months in school…

I heard the school bell ringing. Ben was there near my locker.

‘Sam I have to tell you something. I really like you and… I love you.’ he said.

‘Are you serious? Because I felt the same for you too but… I have to tell you my biggest secret of my life. I am not a normal human being… I am half wizard.’ I whispered.

Ben was surprised.

‘ We have to tell this to Amy.’ He said

‘Amy I have something to tell you. I am a half- blooded wizard.’ I whispered.

‘Are you serious! Everyone listen, Sam is a half-blooded wizard. Isn’t that cool?’ She said.

I got mad, upset and ran to the classroom. Ben followed me.

‘Here wear this bracelet and follow me.’ I said

I brought him to the world of witchcraft.

‘Sam no matter who you are I will still love you.’ Ben said.

‘You can’t because I will die. I am a heart signed zodiac my ancestors were being killed by the heart killer and so do I. unless you help me to save myself in this world. Oh no! It’s the heart killer. Quick! Hide behind me.’

‘So we meet again and to bad that today is the last day you’ll live. I sense that you brought someone with you. Can I see him? Come out where ever you are.’ said the heart killer

‘Here I am.’ Ben said.

‘Egbano gintiris!’ said the heart killer.

‘Ben!’ I shouted.

He is dead. I collected all my powers and maximized it and killed the heart killer for once. I also managed to bring Ben to alive after killing the heart killer.

‘Oh Ben I am so sorry that I had to risk your life to save myself. I love you.’ I said.

‘It’s okay Sam. As long you are still alive to stay by my side. I love you too. Now let’s go back to the earth.’

Back in school Amy apologized to me for acting so stupid that day. Everything was back to normal and Ben and I got even closer than before. It is because we loved each other. And nobody talks about me anymore. It’s a simple and perfect life yet.
